Take the second exit on the roundabout, passing McDonalds. You will come to a mini roundabout. Go straight ahead and then immediately left in front of the railway crossing into Railway Road. By Car:

From Newhaven

Take the A259 towards towards Seaford. Cross over the swing bridge and take the first left to go down beside the flyover. Follow the road round under the flyover to a mini roundabout. At the roundabout take the second exit and then turn immediately left in front of the railway crossing into Railway Road. Drive straight ahead for around 600 yards and you will see the Engineer Pub on your left and Leads Direct on the right.

Parking

There is usually plenty of free on-street parking almost opposite.  If you turn left beside the Engineer pub you can expect to find parking available in the side road or in Norton Terrace (see the map above).

We have a small forecourt with limited parking which you are welcome to use, but because it is small it is usually full. Please do not park in the area between the warehouse and the adjacent building (marked ‘Horsey’s Drive’) as 24/7 access is needed by the motor vehicle repairers in the yard behind. Note that traffic wardens are frequently active in the area so we recommend that you do not risk parking on double yellow lines for any length of time.

On Foot:

From Seaford:

Follow the A259 from Seaford towards Newhaven. For safety and for the view and surroundings consider walking through the Ouse Estuary nature reserve which covers natural marshland and reedbeds at the mouth of the River Ouse. Trees and shrubs have already been planted and new cycle ways and footpaths cross the area. Remember to keep to the defined footpaths when you are exploring the area to avoid damaging the wildlife.

You can find out more about the county’s wetlands and parks by phoning 01273 481441 or visiting the conservation and wildlife section of the County Council website. At the Newhaven side of the nature reserve follow the footpath alongside the A259. You will pass a large Sainsburys store on your right, and come to a roundabout with a McDonalds forward and to the left. Follow the footpath beside the second exit on the roundabout, passing McDonalds. You will come to a mini roundabout. Go straight ahead and then immediately left in front of the railway crossing into Railway Road. Walk straight ahead for around 600 yards and you will see the Engineer Pub on your left and Leads Direct on the right.

On Foot:

From Newhaven:

Follow the A259 towards towards Seaford. If you are not already in the right hand footpath use the pedestrian crossing just before the bridge to cross the road and then cross over the swing bridge. Follow the footpath to the right to go down beside the flyover to Newhaven Town railway station. Cross over the railway crossing and turn right into Railway Road. Walk straight ahead for around 600 yards and you will see the Engineer Pub on your left and Leads Direct on the right.
