UK (Type G) to IEC C13

A range of UK (Type G) plugs to IEC C13 connectors. Our IEC C13 connectors come in standard straight and right angled variations, we can also custom make with left angled IEC C13’s. All our UK Type G power cords are fully approved, spec sheets and approvals are available on request.

The IEC C13 connector is mistakenly called the kettle lead, in fact the true kettle lead is an IEC C15 connector, please take a look at our IEC C15 range. The lead arrived today and I am pleased to report that it works as intended. Not that your workmanship was ever in doubt but specifying electrical connections, especially oddball ones like this one which cannot be bought off the shelf, is new to me.

FYI it connects a controller/programmer (RJ12) for an astronomical telescope to a digital camera (2.5mm stereo plug) to allow long exposure photographs of very faint celestial objects in the night sky.

I feel compelled to let you know how wonderful I think your service is. Your prices are mainly very competitive, and 1-3 day delivery is normally less than 24 hours! I’ve never had a single faulty product, although I’ve had the odd thing where I’ve got it wrong, despite the comprehensive web site and pre-sales tech line.

But the feather in your cap was the excellent service yesterday when at 4:25pm, despite believing the deliveries had already been picked up, your sales representative went and checked, just to make sure. With 5 minutes before the collection was due, I managed to add two items, worth £3, to my order and saved £10 additional postage. Everything was waiting for me at the office this morning when I arrived just after 9am. MAGIC!
