Anyone can visit our site without any personally identifying information whatsoever being obtained or retained. However, our site uses a number of Feedback, Information Request and Order / Quotation Request Forms for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitor’s contact information (like their email address and telephone number). Contact information from the form is used to send information about our company, and/or the products in which they have expressed an interest, to our customers. The customer’s contact information is also used to get in touch with them directly should it prove necessary.

This information is retained only as long as is absolutely necessary for the provision of information and/or services and to meet the requirements of legislation or the lawful orders of gpvernment agencies. Once it is no longer needed the information is permanently deleted.

Users may also choose to register to receive occasional information, special offers etc. via Email, again entirely at their own choice, by subscribing to our Mailing Lists. For the protection of our users the system operates on a ‘Double Opt-In’ basis, requiring users to confirm their wish to be part of the list by clicking a link in a confirmation email sent to their stated email address after subscribing and before any mailings take place. Users may always opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below for more details.

Anonymous information such as Visitor Numbers and Visit Durations may be retained by our ISP for statistical and management purposes, but none of this information can be used to personally identify individual visitors.

External Services

From time to time Leads Direct may use external services provided by third parties to enable us to provide a better service to our customers.  The privacy policy of the supplier of the service will apply, and Leads Direct will not take on any service that does not give the user an option to opt out.  Currently we may utilise the following services where appropriate:

 Google Adwords Re-marketing

This website uses the Google AdWords re-marketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an enquiry.

This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the this website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

As a result you may see adverts for Leads Direct when you visit sites that serve up such advertisements.  If you would rather not see such advertisements you can opt out of the cookie tracking here: http://google.com/settings/ads/onweb/optout?hl=en

Lead Forensics

The Lead Forensics service allows us to see which commercial visitors arrive on and use our website. The service is provided based on their using the IP address of the visitor to identify the business that the visitor represents.  It may collate that information with data from other publicly available services to give a basic profile on the visiting business.  It cannot personally identify the visitor and does not identify visitors from non-business IP addresses.

We may use this information to offer assistance to a visiting business, for example if we determine that they have experienced a difficulty with our site we may be able to use the service to get the necessary details to be able to contact the business (but not any individual) in order to help resolve the problem.  The information may also be used to identify information, products, and services that may benefit the visitor.  The visitor can opt out of receiving this additional support at any time by notifying our staff of their wish at which point we will arrange for the service provider to exclude the nominated IP address from its reports.
