6 pole 16amp GST rewireable Socket, in black/blue
This 6 pole low profile rewireable socket that complies with EN60 320. The GST connectors are mainly used with lighting equipment and are especially useful where there’s limited space. This plug is IP20 rated but when plugged in this becomes IP40.
The cable conductor core size is between 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² with a current rating of 70°C and 16A.

FYI it connects a controller/programmer (RJ12) for an astronomical telescope to a digital camera (2.5mm stereo plug) to allow long exposure photographs of very faint celestial objects in the night sky.
In this day and age such excellent service is sadly not that common and in this case because we had originally ordered the leads incorrectly on the advice of our telecoms engineer your prompt action was all the more appreciated.
