Description

You’re looking at a 1 metre USB 3.1 type C to type A cable. This new spec of USB 3.1 offers lot of improvements over older generations, by far the biggest improvement over standard USB cables is the Type C connector – not only is this the smallest USB connector (excluding the Micro B) this Type C plug is fully reversible, meaning no more wasted time trying to connect.

Our 1USB3A-C supports up to 20V / 3A (60W) of power and the newly improved power delivery means that you can not only charge your phone, you can charge your laptop.

The lead arrived today and I am pleased to report that it works as intended. Not that your workmanship was ever in doubt but specifying electrical connections, especially oddball ones like this one which cannot be bought off the shelf, is new to me.

FYI it connects a controller/programmer (RJ12) for an astronomical telescope to a digital camera (2.5mm stereo plug) to allow long exposure photographs of very faint celestial objects in the night sky.

I feel compelled to let you know how wonderful I think your service is. Your prices are mainly very competitive, and 1-3 day delivery is normally less than 24 hours! I’ve never had a single faulty product, although I’ve had the odd thing where I’ve got it wrong, despite the comprehensive web site and pre-sales tech line.

But the feather in your cap was the excellent service yesterday when at 4:25pm, despite believing the deliveries had already been picked up, your sales representative went and checked, just to make sure. With 5 minutes before the collection was due, I managed to add two items, worth £3, to my order and saved £10 additional postage.
