PDU with IEC C13 Socket Horizontal

Horizontal IEC C13 power distribution units (PDUs), designed to fit with 19 inch rack or cabinets, distribute power via mains or UPS (uninterrupted power supply) come in both vertical and horizontal orientations. These units are available off the shelf pre-fitted with 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 IEC C13 sockets.

Most of our IEC C13 PDUs come fitted with a 3m length of mains cable supplied with a UK plug.

All PDU’s are manufactured using a black aluminium 1U shell.

The lead arrived today and I am pleased to report that it works as intended. Not that your workmanship was ever in doubt but specifying electrical connections, especially oddball ones like this one which cannot be bought off the shelf, is new to me.

FYI it connects a controller/programmer (RJ12) for an astronomical telescope to a digital camera (2.5mm stereo plug) to allow long exposure photographs of very faint celestial objects in the night sky.

I feel compelled to let you know how wonderful I think your service is. Your prices are mainly very competitive, and 1-3 day delivery is normally less than 24 hours! I’ve never had a single faulty product, although I’ve had the odd thing where I’ve got it wrong, despite the comprehensive web site and pre-sales tech line.

There is also another company called I think "naim" they both use strange DIN / Jones types leads, and to buy from that company can cost big time.
