HO5VV-F Harmonized cable is a medium duty flexible PVC insulated electrical cable commonly used in devices such as computers and office equipment, medical devices, heaters, cooking/baking/frying equipment, kitchen utensils, medical devices, and other medium duty electrical or electronic equipment designed for use outside the USA. This cable is used in our IEC C13 range  and our IEC C19 range.

WARNING: HO5VV-F cable is rated at a maximum of 60°C  and must not be permitted to come into direct contact with any high temperature surface or component.

Technical Information:

  • Conductors: Finely stranded copper
  • Conductor Sizes: 0.75, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.5 mm2 are standard.  Heavier cables can be manufactured on request.
  • No. of Cores: 2, 3, or 4
  • Insulation: PVC
  • Jacket: PVC
  • Installation Bend Radius: 5 times the diameter of the cable
  • Temperature Rating: +5°C to +60°C
  • Voltage Rating: 300/500 Volts
  • Colour Code: Blue, Brown, Green/Yellow Ground, Black
  • Jacket Colours Available: Black, Light Gray, Dark Gray, and White standard.  Additional colours are available including Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Orange. Other colours can be manufactured to special order including specific Pantone colours for large enough orders.
  • Approvals: As standard a harmonised cable should automatically comply with the following standards
    • HAR;
    • CE Low Voltage Directive
    • Conforms to DIN 57281
    • DIN VDE 0281-5,
    • HD 21.5, S3,
    • IEC 227-5;
    • BS 6500
